Chiberta Golf Club in France is terrific, despite the large swathes of fairway under repair on one and nine when I played there.
The moment you cross the road and start the second this is terrific links golf. That's before rolling back into the trees around nine and 10 and then 15 through to 18. Don't miss it.
And if you want to stay in one of the world's great hotels, check into the Hotel du Palais Biarritz. Both Chiberta and the du Palais are a must.
