Nefyn & District Golf Club in north Wales is a one-of-a-kind golf course, that's for sure.
It's set on a breathtaking peninsula where the sea is visible from just about every spot. The original final eight holes play along "The Point," a slim stretch of land where holes are squeezed in so tight you're almost always tiptoeing along the cliffs, none more so than the 13th hole. The Point also features a "blowhole," a circular hole in front of the 16th green that funnels down to the sea and serves as a hazard on the maddening 12th hole.
The course features eight new holes that offer a more championship test. Day passes at Nefyn will allow you to play all 26 holes on the property. Green fees are £37-45.
