Abersoch Golf Club in North Wales
Abersoch Golf Club is set in one of north Wales' most popular vacation towns on the Llyn Peninsula. The golf course itself celebrated its centennial in 2008, as its original nine holes were opened then, designed by Harry Vardon.
Since opening, nine parkland holes have been added, creating an 18-hole golf course that plays just under 5,900 yards from the white tees. The nine links holes feature very undulating fairways and dunes complexes playing to relatively small greens. Abersoch Golf Club's par-5 fourth hole plays right along a bustling beach where sail boats and jet skis whiz by.
The remaining inland holes head off the coastline into parkland property and play shorter than the original links nine. The golf course makes for a good second option for golfers playing nearby Nefyn & District.
