La Grand Mare Golf Club is situated on the west coast of Guernsey. Water plays a very important feature on the course. La Grand Mare is owned and run by a local family, the Vermulen's, and they have made great strides in five years that La Grand Mare has been open.

Club facilities and amenities on site include hotel, restaurant, bar, pro-shop, health suite lockers changing rooms and showers.

La Grand Mare was designed by Hawtree is a deceptively difficult course, a quick look at the card does not reveal La Grand Mare's hidden hazards. Water plays an integral part in all but 3 of the holes. Accuracy of the tee is vital to ensure you have a chance of hitting the greens in regulation. The ever improving greens offer a big challenge, especially the far double greens which can leave you with a putt of over 45 yards. The 17th, par 3 holes offers a great challenge, 266 yards over water.
