Kilrush Golf Club was founded as a nine hole course in 1934. The membership remained very low until the seventies. It was re-designed and extended to 18 holes in 1994 and has been gaining in popularity ever since. Known as the 'Friendliest Club in Ireland' this club extends a special welcome to visitors. There are many excellent holes in this spectacular courses which overlooks the beautiful Shannon Estuary.

Directions
From Ennis take the road to Kilrush, the course is on the outskirts of the town on the main road.

A parkland course where the clever use of the natural terrain, combined with water trees and sand make this a very enjoyable and testing course. The 9th is the feature hole and is played from a plateau. This par three hole is guarded by water and sand, while the closing stretch into the prevailing wind can be a test for the best.
