Just a good club !

Really good condition all round with friendly staff and players on the course. It can be windy but the views are spectacular.

Decent Winter Course

Hour journey through floods and puddles fearing the worst.
Easy to find and plenty of parking.
Quick check-in with friendly staff.
Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in great condition.
Not a fan of some very close together tee boxes and greens.
Front 9 has more variety. Back 9 is mostly par 4s.
We were worried about recent heavy rain but no issues.
Would definitely like to visit here again soon.
Decent course for Winter golf. Excellently presented.
Thank you to High Post Golf Club for an enjoyable round.

Had to cancel my booking three days in advance as my partner had an issue, rang them up to try and reschedule but they weren’t interested at all, we ended up paying £31 for a round we didn’t even play and never got any help from them whatsoever. For something that is a premium price when it’s not a premium course it’s no wonder they’re constantly asking people to join, places like this are the reason people aren’t interested in taking up golf.

Expensive

We paid £25 for this round which is quite expensive considering we were stuck on the first tee for around 20 minutes behind a lot of people (mostly OAP’s) who I presume were members, we decided to try the 12th instead but once again there were a huge amount of OAP’s crammed together. When we did eventually start we found the course was very muddy and every green was surrounded by a cordon so we couldn’t take trolleys anywhere near, some as far as 70 or so yards away from the green, why charge people a premium price if the course isn’t a premium course and the tees aren’t properly regulated, the first tee is a shambles, as soon as the members saw us going towards the first tee they shot off all of a sudden and jumped on the tee, then had the cheek to tell us to join!!! No chance!!
