Course Details

Course Name: Glen Gorse Holes: 18 Yardage: 6648 SSS: 72
Fairly flat course, however ridges and furrows on five fairways adds to the difficulty of the second shot at theses holes. The maturing of recently planted trees, makes straight hitting, now, more rewarding.

There are six ponds on the course including three between the 6th and 7th holes. All four par threes demand accuracy being well guarded by bunkers. Three long par fours, ensure a very tough finish, the 17th and 18th both being 450 yards. 16th hole (pictured) 400 yards, slight dog-leg left to green. Ridge and furrow fairway slopes right to the left, meaning ideal drive needs to be right of centre. Entry to the green narrowed by bunkers on both sides.
