One could say Clandeboye Golf Club was born on Saturday 10th June, 1933 when a Public Meeting in the Dufferin Hall, Bangor first breathed life into what has since become recognised as one of the foremost golf clubs in Ireland.

Throughout the past 70 years Clandeboye clubhouse has been radically modified... it now bears no resemblance to the original single storey wooden clubhouse.

Members needs are adequately serviced within the clubhouse, the emphasis allowing them to relax in comfort. Facilities include an enlarged professional's shop, bar and lounge area, and an exclusive restaurant for their use. Another new addition is the informal lounge situated within the Men's Locker Room to view the Sports channels, or simply check their cards.
