Course Name: Bruntsfield Links Holes: 18 Yardage: 6407 SSS: 71 |
A mature parkland course with magnificent views to the north and west. Although only 3 miles from Edinburgh city centre, there is an abundance of wildlife and many different types of trees border the fairways. The course is a most enjoyable challenge for all categories of golfers, and boasts excellent fairways and approaches to greens with many subtle borrows. Originally laid out by Willie Park, it has been modified over the years by Dr Alistair Mackenzie and most recently by Hawtree. It has proved to be a most fitting venue for Boy, Youth, and Senior British and Scottish Championship over the years.
