Birch Grove Golf Club is a pretty parkland course, surrounded by mature woodland, with lush fairways and excellent greens watered from natural underground springs. The course is relatively short but very challenging, only one score under par has ever been achieved. Created in 1970 and extended through a mature wood in 1987, the many natural springs have been tamed into water features which home much wildlife. A family run business with a friendly atmosphere.

The late Fred Walsh designed this pretty parkland course with some challenging holes - well maintained with excellent greens. There are five par three holes and four par 4 holes. The best par 3 is the fourth over a haggard stream valley to a hillside green; the sixth is a beautiful par 4 threading its way through an avenue of mature trees.
